Costume Distressing for BYU’s 2017 Production of Macbeth.
One of two identical cowls made for a 2017 production of Macbeth. This cowl is distressed using, among other things, Texas dirt, Mod Podge, and nail polish to achieve the desired appearance of wet blood.

Fabric and shoe painting for South Coast Repertory’s 2019 production of Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience.
Special care was taken to make sure the stripes painted onto the pinstripe pants matched those painted onto suit coat. Also visible are the painted mole rat shoes.

Costume dyeing and painting for the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts 2022 production of Invincible.
The jacket was given an initial fabric paint wash, then the designs based on Basquiat paintings were applied with acrylic. The pants were dyed using a blend of synthetic and natural dyes. Patches were painted separately and applied later.

Leather apron distressing for BYU’s 2017 production of The Mill on the Floss.
A coat of lacquer was applied to the inside of the apron, to prevent the deerskin from rubbing off on the costumes beneath.
